ABOUT JAMFEST
Jamfest is an African media and information festival directed at a diverse set of African media makers and media publics. This third annual festival will be held in person in 2023 at the Tshimologong Precinct and will convene hundreds of media makers and innovators from across Africa to showcase new content styles and approaches, purposeful conversations and networking as well as great innovation emanating from the continent.
For 2023, Jamfest will be held in collaboration with the Civic Tech Innovation Network.
Jamfest will explore through-provoking discussions under the theme #AfricaFlows.
#AfricaFlows speaks to our ability to create new pathways when old ways have failed. It is understanding we are never alone, and that there are others like us who are ready to collaborate and create solutions with us to generate greater possibilities.
